Yazd Bafq Steel Project
Bafgh Steel Company” is one of Iran’s major steel projects, aimed at implementing a complete steel chain alongside the Joghatai iron mine, in line with the general policies outlined in Article 44 of the Constitution. It was privatized in 2011 and entrusted to the private sector, under the name of “Bafgh Iron Ore and Steel Industries Complex,” as a subsidiary of the Yaran Holding. This complex took its first step by launching its rebar rolling mill with a production capacity of 550,000 tons in Bahman 1394 (February 2016) in the city of Bafgh, Yazd Province.
