With an area of 244.51 square kilometers, Tabriz has considerable expanses, making transportation within the city highly important.
With a population of around one million and five hundred thousand people, Tabriz requires a diverse and extensive transportation system to accommodate the movement of such a large number of individuals. The rail system, or metro, is one of the public transportation methods in Tabriz, which has experienced significant growth in service delivery in recent years.
