Sarmad Iron and Steel Industries Company, Abarkooh” was established in 1391 (2012) as a private joint-stock company and commenced operation in 1395 (2016), initiating its activities in the field of metal product manufacturing, including rebar. The Sarmad Abarkooh Steel Plant is currently located in Abarkooh, Yazd Province, and is recognized as one of the units of Chadormalu Company, which is a public industrial and mining company. In this industrial plant, all production processes, from iron ore extraction to the production of steel products for the market, are carried out entirely. Presently, the plant operates in various units including the rolling mill and rebar unit, steelmaking unit, billet unit, and direct reduction unit, contributing to the market with high-quality steel and iron products.
